Two Cases of Electrical Burn on Laparoscopic Sterilization

Abstract

|
Female sterilization by laparoscopic technics has many advantages over traditional methods. However, it still has come some problems to be improved, especially in electric coagulation method. It has danger of heat injury such as gastro intestinal, bladder& abdominal burn. We have presented the recent our own experience of 2 series complication reguiring Laparotomy occured in electric coagulation, one case was complicated from intestinal burn with omental adhesion and the other was ovarian burn due to electric coagulation. The presentation, management, and hospital course of these injuries are presented.
